"National Black Girl Magic Day" being celebrated today February 15, 2024, holds immense significance as it pays tribute to Black women's strength, resilience, and achievements. It’s a day to honor their contributions, celebrate their uniqueness, and promote inclusivity. In line with this spirit of celebration and inclusivity, some characters in my upcoming book, Once Upon A Claim: Fairy Tales to Protect Your Ass(ets), have been thoughtfully reimagined to reflect a more diverse and inclusive world.
Among these characters are Rapunzel and Little Miss Muffet, who have been beautifully envisioned as Black women. By embracing diversity in storytelling, we aim to create a space where everyone can see themselves and feel represented.
Just as "National Black Girl Magic Day" underscores the importance of celebrating and connecting, our book seeks to bring people together through the engaging and enlightening world of insurance. It’s a celebration of knowledge, empowerment, and the assurance that we all have the capacity to protect what matters most to us.
As we celebrate this special day, we invite you to join us in honoring the achievements and contributions of Black women, not only in the realm of storytelling but in all aspects of life. Let’s continue to foster an inclusive and vibrant community that celebrates the magic within each and every one of us.
As you explore the world of insurance through the lens of reimagined fairy tales, we hope this journey helps you celebrate yourself and your ability to navigate the complexities of life with confidence and clarity.
Stay tuned for the release of Once Upon A Claim... on Saturday, May 11, 2024, where Rapunzel, Little Miss Muffet, and a diverse cast of characters come together to teach valuable lessons about insurance, protection, and the magic that exists within us all.
